My first post
You guys have been maintaining this wonderful blog for so long and yet none of your NCOs bothered to post this, so hopefully this breaks the silence well :)
Firstly, grats to the people who are in the NCPC Skit competition. Some magnanimously volunteered, while others received a calling today for their participation. The 6 guys are: Valen (LEADER), Nick Chng, Shawn Lim, John Tan, Yong Rui and Norman. We will be coaching you closely with our limited knowledge of drama performances, so be prepared to have a great time!
Secondly, hope this blog will remain alive and kicking for a long time. However I noticed it the same few who posts and tags, perhaps you could get everyone to leave a tag? Maybe we will give you a surprise during Unit Camp xD
And the blog skin.. Do you know having a white blogskin actually wastes more electricity because your monitor has to work harder? Get a more creative one!
About all,
Zhen Quan :)
if you actually checked the Workplan,
be reminded of the june holidays..
our schedule is :
Week 1:
1/6~3/6 --- Unit Camp
4/6 --- CD course
Week 3:
15/6~17/6 --- ATC
Week 4:
22/6 --- SANA course
SO is like only 2nd week free, if dun have any revision training.
Dun make any commitments on those days that we have CCA :)

That training will most probably be the last wednesday afternoon we spend time with our beloved NCOs,
so make it fun too :)
AND dun make NCOs angry, (quite obvious)

STOP FIDGETING
seriously. stop it. especially people in my group. we all can see very, absolutely crystal clearly. no offence, but nicholas, maybe others also fidget, but you fidget the most. just because others fidget once in the entire training does not entitle you to fidget throughout the training. of course, there are people like qi wei (i think) and others who do so so stop it. when people judge a squad, they can't see those overly imba people. those prominent ones are the screw ups. they make the squad look like a squad which got participation for UOPA. no offence, but seriously, stop it.
ironic how when people from outside see us, they view us with respect. yet we think that as members of NPCC, we are in a lousy EP3. see the irony?
when NCOs say adjust, don't move your legs cos you don't need to. just stand there, don't turn around, talk, jump around (was it jonas?) etc; cos you are not supposed to. just... scratch? make sure uniform is tidy... when timer says cut STOP FIDGETING IMMEDIATELY!!! stop looking around and adjusting, don't look at who said cut. just cut. same for tiam?diam? wadeva. just stop moving.
and also, don't slouch. you look like crap when you do so. nicholas, alain, etc; you guys slouch a lot.
when people tell you not to, don't just do the extreme opposite. unless you intend to keep that posture till end of drills, then just do what you know is expected of you, as HCINPCC, 13 years consecutive gold unit (1 of 2 only units capable of achieving this. no the other is New Town Secondary, not Raffles Institution.).
no offence to those mentioned. don't emo just cos of this. improve. move on. let's go.
b.t.w pls read WEE's email and check whether you still have your gloves.
p.s. congrats darryl & randy for your appointments as squad I/C and A/I/C respectively.

GOOD LUCK FOR THE PULL - UPS . :D
remb there are techniques.
if u cnt do one, jump up, grab, and faster pull ok,
dun wobble or move unnecessarily when doing pull up . it only wastes ur biceps energy.
do a jump pull up. and everyone would pass ok ! :D

Just a confirmation....
Cue table says tomorrow's attire for drill is Full Uniform,
But Tingyit sir's email says its half-uniform, but can be in full uniform.
So, lets standardize..
HALF UNIFORM.
Because we still have PT after that,
then why not go there in Half Uniform, bring lesser things...
AND, when changing for PT we won't need so much time to change too :)Agreeable?
Wenhao
sorry

Wednesday, May 13, 2009
Please be reminded that there will be extra training NEXT MONDAY. 18MAY2009. Yes, its 4 days away.. !
The attire will be you normal HC Half uniform (PE SHIRT + KHAKI SHORTS)
The time: 4.15pm - 6.00pm (1hr and 45mins only, so dun complain.)
Well, most probably we would be revising on drills, given the fast that we missed so many Friday trainings.
Yup, so thats all :)
Have a nice Wednesday night lol.

Congratulations to those who 'upgraded' from P/LCP to LCP !!
I have changed the rank under the cadet list
** I changed it according to the unit website's OPTS, so if there are any discrepencies pls edit it yourself :)
AND, I have changed the rank back to black in color.
I don't see the point in making it white, it just looks somehwat weird to me.
Just a Reminder for those who are still like me:
LEARN from the people who got promoted, and make sure you pass,
CHANGE you attitude towards training ?? (if its bad)
POINT OUT your own mistakes and change them :)
Lol.. that was random. But anyways for those who wanna get promoted, the next promotion test is in TERM THREE. So work hard!
Thats all. Do take note the activities we will have during the holidays and attend them
Wenhao

4.NPCC Day was ok...
So ya...congrats.. :)
5. And Tommorrow is HALF UNIFORM 1445 - 1700 No PT
That means - SPEC HOOKS, BOOTS, BLACK SOCKS, BELT, TROUSERS, UNIT T-SHIRT and BERET
6. Good luck with exams guys. Need help with Lit LOTF I can act out the roles for you (especially Jack - Kill the beast, cut its throat, spill its blood! *roar*)

Hey sec 2s,
How's your pull-up training coming along? I hope you haven't forgotten your deal with us yet - I WANT TO SEE THE INDEPENDENCE AND SELF-MOTIVATION IN YOU when W8 comes, I'll be looking forward to full 1-pull-ups.
Beyond that, some things to take note from myself (IMPORTANT!):
ONE - WUTW
First and foremost, What's Up This Week? for Term 2 Week 7 [4 May April 2009 (Monday) - 10 May 2009 (Sunday)] can be found at http://www.hci.sg/npcc/wutw/2009/T2W7.pdf. Please refer to it for information on activities for the upcoming week.
I do apologize for the late uploading of this week's WUTW due to unprecedented delay. Rest assured I will ensure this does not happen again.
However, I do hope you guys can reciprocate this accountability, and make an effort to at least read the WUTW document. You may have forgotten an important NPCC activity, or are unclear of the reporting date and time, this document is there to MAKE YOUR LIFE EASIER, NOT MINE.
TWO - Workplan
For the observant ones, the Unit Workplan 2009 has been undergoing many updates throughout the year with fresh information from HQ.
For those who have no inkling on what the HCI Unit Workplan is, you can find it at: http://www.hci.sg/npcc/Workplan.pdf
Please do check back the workplan for constant updates, especially if you will be making holiday plans for June. Ensure that your commitments do not clash with the events, and if it does, please take the necessary actions (e.g.. reschedule cancel/commitments) and be accountable.
For your convenience, let me list down some of the events that will be important to your squad till T3:
NPCC Day - 7 May 2009
Open house - 16 May 2009
Unit camp - 1~3 June 2009
S2 CD Course - 4 June 2009
Adventure training camp - 15~17 June 209
S2 SANA Course - 22 June 2009
DO TAKE NOTE AND BE ACCOUNTABLE!
THREE - Trainings
You guys should have noticed that Friday trainings have been heavily disrupted (unfortunately) due to things like A-level holidays, TnF holidays, Labour Day, good friday, etc.
Your NCOs and the unit are in a rush trying to get your standards and your syllabus in check. We cannot afford to lose any more Friday trainings.
I hope you can understand where we are coming from, and the various arrangements your NCOs will be making for you guys.
Firstly, there will be no termly recreational activity for this term, largely because of the lack of training, and partly because we haven't been working hard enough =). We will, in place, try to schedule something in place of your missed recreation, but just take note.
Secondly, there will still be Friday Training this week. Despite the CCA stand-down thingy on the EMB, training will still be as per normal, with the exception of you guys missing PT and getting an early dismissal from training (yay!).
FOUR - NPCC Day (!)
NPCC Day is round the corner (this Thursday), please refer to the WUTW and Zhen Wei's e-mail sent to you previously.
The important thing I wish to stress is how you carry yourself in your NPCC uniform. On NPCC Day, you will be wearing your NPCC uniform, I'm sure you know you are representing your EP3, right?
ACCORD THE CORRECT BEHAVIOR AND ATTITUDE, and I'm sure the people around you will gain a better impression of you.
Remember, it's not just NPCC you are representing, it's YOUR EP3 you are representing. Especially when this is my squad.
Enjoy (!) the rest of your term!
Yours Sincerely,
SSG WEE TING YIT
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN

Reminder
Anyway, Jonas has reminded via email already. Just in case you are those type of people who only check blogs but not their email.
By Ng Eng Chuan
falling in
no offence to anyone, but seriously, when falling in, please do NOT fidget. just because you do not see the NCOs does not mean they do not see YOU. (i.e. they are watching from the back etc;) ESP when someone tells you to stop fidgeting, do NOT look around to see who that person is. if that person CARES to tell you to quit fidgeting, he is someone with squad spirit, and thus has the right to tell you to stop fidgeting, thus you should not question him with a weird look, and do NOT say "NCO not even here, don't extra lah..."

p.s. NPAP, do not make HCINPCC look like its made up of a bunch of idiots (i know this is my hobby but I'll try to control myself ok...)

After that date, please go tell yourself.

Hopefully what happened today won't repeat.

Improving the power of the squad (Part I)
I was thinking, recently our squad has been getting chaotic and everything so just some ideas on how to improve our squad.
1. Respect and love your squadmates (NCOs too! - I know this is cliche but bear with me..)
- That means treating them with respect, helping them instead of watching them in trouble, like instead of saying 'too bad' or laughing and walking away when your squad mate is hurt or something, you could help/comfort him.
- Listen to what they have to say, respect their opinion, NOT ask them to 'shut up'
- Accept criticism and improve. Criticism from your squad mates doesn't mean they're scolding your or something, it is an opportunity for you to improve, as they are pointing our your mistakes to you. So LISTEN and don't ask the person to shut up.
- Of course, there is good and bad criticism. Good criticism helps the person to improve by pointing our his mistakes, while bad criticism is equivalent to scolding and insulting the person - An example of good criticism: "Ben can your say your timing louder and sharper, don't drag it, and say left-right-left-right-left-right instead of left-left-left-right", and an example of bad criticism: "Ben your timing sucks." The difference if pretty obvious.
- Listen first. Don't ask your squad mates to shut up or fight with them.
- If your squad mate is making a mistake, don't keep quiet and hope you won't get punished, then stay away and act 乖. TAKE THE INITIATIVE!
- Spread the message. Self explanatory.
- That means not only thinking about your interests, but also of the squad. Win-win.
- Squad spirit is NOT: pushing and shoving your squad mates out of the way so you can fall in first. The timing is for everybody, not just yourself. Don't just care about yourself. An example of squad spirit would be like helping to post the training details or helping your squadmates to find out what location for the gala dinner when their com has spoiled, or opening the door for your squad to go through (win-win).
- If someone makes a mistake, the whole squad should share the blame. After all, nobody took the initiative to correct his mistake. Don't push the blame or point fingers.
- One for all, all for one. "A chain is only as strong as its weakest link"
- Teamwork. Work together. Synergy. Also self explanatory.
- IMPORTANT: SQUAD SPIRIT TAKES EVERYBODY TO WORK TOWARDS IT, NOT JUST SOME ENTHU INDIVIDUALS.
- Work together.
- Start working towards it. Encourage your squad mates, start caring about them, help them, respect them, PERSEVERE!
- "A year from now you may wish you had started today." - Karen Lamb
Together, you and I can make a difference.
Your ex-ex-ex squad I/C, ambassador and spokesperson for the 'Free Hugs' Campaign, and future ex-ex-ex-ex squad I/C

Just to share something nice (some of you might know).
Those who are using hotmail, there's such a thing called Skydrive.
Its a hotmail-based thingy, so must be logged in to use.
Seeing from its name, its actually, well, a thumbdrive on air (lol)
Ya, its like a thumbdrive and you can stor things inside it.
Comparing to a thumbdrive:
Pros:
-Loads files much faster.
-Useful when you forgot (common excuse) to bring your thumbdrive.
- IT HAS 25GB OF STORAGE !!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D
Cons:
-What if you don't have internet connection/connection is down? :(
Yep, thats about it.
Wenhao
P.S. I'm trying to say that you can use this for storing the Leave of Absence form for NPCC activities, especially those using hotmail, bcos i THINK that hotmail cannot bookmark or do whatever to an email.
Trust me, its useful :D

Hi all,
Reminder:
#1) Spring Cleaning on THIS COMING MONDAY 23 MARCH 2009. YES ITS TOMORROW. 2pm to 5pm. Attire is PE SHIRT, KHAKI SHORTS, WHITE SOCKS. Bring along a rag and newspapers.
#2)Reflection on Today's Gala Dinner Marshalling: Send a email to Hongliang sir's email address by WEDNESDAY, 9.59PM (to be safe).
Maybe everyone send by 9pm to avoid any internet congestion or whatever thing that can happen. 300 words at least, so just type it out in MS Word and get word count, copy paste into email.
Ya, So thats about it... AND pls stop the bearhugging thing....
In my opinion, its seriously childish and inhumane. Imagine yourself being tied by a rope and forcing you to walk. Eeeeeee...
Hug maybe can la. 1 second enough. Theres no need for you to while hugging, walk around, do this, do that. Its awful. Put yourself in the victim's shoes :(
One more thing, during the Gala Dinner the song "Peng You". For heaven's sake during the music interlude if you want to say the "bom bom xxxx xxxx" thing, PLS just MUTE YOU VOLUME. Its was seriously darn obvious la. There goes the school's reputation.

Dear NCC and NPCC cadets,
You should have known by now that you are involved in the 90th

Hi all,
Ya, as suggested by Nicholas sir,
the following will be the list of theorys for knots !
MUST REVISED HARD HARD ORH! :)
so that all P/LCP becomes LCP, and CDT still remains CDT :(, like me! :)
k, stop beating about that bush.
pls correct (just edit it lol.) or add anything that I have left out/typed wrongly :)
THEORY :)
(P.S. MOST OF THIS WERE TAKEN FROM THE ENTHU EMAIL EITHER ME OR JOHN SENT, ONLY MADE CHANGES TO THOSE THAT HE MENTIONED TODAY.)
- Reef Knot
- For tying bandage
- Tie 2 ropes of equal thickness
- Tie 2 ends of a plastic bag together
- Sheet Bend
- Tie 2 ropes of different thickness together
- Tie a rope to a loop or hook
- Tie a flag to a flagline
- Sheep Shank
- For easy keeping
- For shortening the rope
- Prevent strains on worn out parts of the rope
- Bowline
- Used in rescuing purposes
- Used in tent pitching ( tied to the dolly)
- To form a loop
- Fisherman's Knot
- Join together 2 wet, slippery, or smooth ropes of similiar thickness
- Used to mend a fishing net
- Used to tie a flag to a flagline
- Figure of Eight Knot
- Tie to the sail of the yacht
- Stopper knot to prevent rope from passing through a loop or hook
- Stopper knot to prevent fraying
- To make a handhold for a wet rope
- Clove Hitch
- To start all lashings except diagonal lashing
- Used in tent pitching (tied to the pin of the vertical pole)
- Tie a rope to a railing
- Timber Hitch
- Useful for dragging logs back to a campfire.
- To start a diagonal lashing
- can be loosened to fit in more logs and tightened again to secured again
* Lashings - Courtesy of John's email (dun mind i use uh)
Round lashing
tying two spars together side by side.
start with clove hitch tied around both sparswind around the two spars. tightly.
after every turn use ur thumb to press it down.
make sure its so tight that ur finger cnt go in. XD
Square lashing.
Quite .... a few disputes over how it should be tied. =X
haix. jus stick with the old one...(:
but. frappings dont overdo it. it will only wekaen it if frappings are overdone *hint*
next. poles are set at 90 degrees.
largely similar to diagonal lashing. jus tat diagonal lashing has the poles set at an acute angle.
clove hitch must be started and ended on different poles
Diagonal Lashing
only lashing with timble hitch as a starting.
end with clove hitch. dun end with timble hitch.
comparatively weaker to square lashing. jus tat.
it... shouldnt be much of a problem if tied correctly.
Sheer lashing.
^^. they didnt write any method. but. i jus brief through generally.
1. start by tying a clove hitch around the two poles. standing end.. the tip make it face up and pull it to the top.
2. keep winding around the two poles. and cover the standing end. make sure that the width of the two poles= thickness of the windings.
3. end with a clove.scissors leg lashing. can be spread out. if u wan to not make it spread. u can tie a clove again. although tat defeats the purpose of sheer lashing.
Ya, so good luck in your upcoming retest! Remember Tingyit sir want 100% passes :)

this is the email Nicholas sir sent
Sunday, March 1, 2009
A few things to address:
1) IMPORTANT: Reply to Zhen Quan sir's email ASAP on the dates for the extra campcraft trainings! Dun put him on a spot hor :)
2) The sub-i/c thingy, someone said that Yong Rui is in 2O2, and i just realised it is XD Sorry for the mix up. I went to the Attendance/Promotions thingy to check the classes and they out there Yong Rui was in 2O3. [NCOs take note! :)]
3) Boots.....
Make them shiny! I used Randy's method and believe me, it works like god. A few things to note though. After burning the kiwi must wait for a period of time and then use a wet cloth to wipe. DUN IMMEDIATELY WIPE. IT WILL SCREW YOUR BOOTS LIKE HELL. And of course dun wait too long also.. If not wun be effective liao XD
Yea so thats about it. Remeber to check your emails regularly!!

remember the cheer tingyit taught us? guess whut. its not inside hcinpcc cheers. but found it! (=
I ask my love, to take a walk
To take a walk, down Orchard Road
By pass Mandarin, to Centrepoint
Where we had lunch, at McDonald
We had fillet, and apple pie
And share a cup, of lemon lime
I hold her hands, look into her eyes
And asked her to, be my Valentine
Now I'm confined, in NPCC I missed her so,
my sweet honey I promised her,
when I booked out I called her out,
and date her out
There was one night, we went night hike
There was no light, so we use torchlight
Under the clear moonlight, look into her eyes I asked her to,
be my future wife
But she rejected me, she turned me down
She turned her head, and said good-bye
I was so sad, now that she had gone
So I turned my way to the airport
When I reached airport, I was alone
I looked around, and saw my love
There was one guy, standing beside her
I was so sad and departed
So I named this song, a sad sad song
Coz it breaks my heart, and filled with tears
Oh my darling, now that you have gone
Let me alone to sing this song
There was one day, I saw a girl
Who looks alike,
my beloved I ran to her,
gently hold her hands
Then I realized, she is not mine
aww... so emo D:
nicholas! u got someone abt as emo as u!
D:
mmm... next PT lets sing this! :D
-john ]:
As promised, the sub-i/c shall be as follows (arranged by class):
2A1: Yeep Tat Wye
2A2: Marcus Tan Wei Xuan
2A3: Lau Zhen Xiang
2A4: Cheng Wenhao
2I1: Aldric Bek Zhen Feng
2I2: Teoh Jian Kai Darren
2I3: Tan Poh Boon John
2O2: Daniel Tan
2O3: Randy Poon Jun Yuan
2O4: Ng Eng Chuan
2P1: New Jin Rui
2P2: Jonathan Wong Wing Hoy
(2O1, 2P3 are omitted as that class has only 1 cadet in the squad, so he will take charge whenever neccesary. 2O1 - Guan Xiong, 2P3 - Norman Lin)
So thats basically about the sub-i/cs. They will help Randy with the gloves sizes first.
Cheers
Wenhao :)
This post is about the badges on your uniform, as Nicholas sir said.
Polish your badges using autosol! Does not require any liquid or whatever else. After that clean off using a tissue.
After putting your nbadges onto your uniform, wipe them with a tissue again to clear any oily substances left by your hand :)
Yea, thats about it.
Hopefully 0 badges will be consfiscated next training! :)

(P.S. This is like not important so kindly read the post below before reading this )
In response to dunno whose suggestion about squad contacting,
I have another suggestion :)
Which is to...
Get a enthu and reliable person from each class to be like a sub-i/c.
Great onot? (LOL.)
The idea basically is to:
Get these sub-i/cs to inform and make sure every npcc cadet in his class knows what is going on for the next day's training, and they can call to inform them in the night. (Its sort of like easier to contact people in your class right? :D)
Haha. I know its sort of extra, but it doesnt hurts right? =p
Regards,
Wenhao
Friday's training overview:
1) Arms drill: Full uniform
2) PT: PT Kit (UNIT T-SHIRT)
- Fall in by 2.45pm
*****
Hi again。
Um, yea you all saw what happened today :(
Oh please, STANDARDIZE your attire!!
Like, whats so difficult about checking your emails?
I understand that its the test period, everyone mugging like dunno what,
come to school like ghost like that, not enough sleep?
Hey, but at least you could spent like at least 1 minute to check your emails before you go to sleep right?
I dont see what so difficult about typing your email address and password and clicking on some buttons to find out whats happening...
Some of you say email cannot log in, or yahoo, hotmail or whatever got problem, thats why WE HAVE THIS BLOG !!! :)
Our few enthu squadmates will post whats going on, what we will be doing and what we need to bring for trainings, so don't let their efforts go to waste yea?
Sorry for making you read this quite long post :)
Regards,
Wenhao
"Due to the large percentage of failure, we will be giving you 1 last chance to pass the test.
We will be arranging 2 revision sessions.
1. 3rd March (Tues), from 3.40pm
2. 9th March (Mon), 2.40pm
You are required to attend at least ONE of the revision sessions, preferably both if you can make it, even if you had already passed it the previous time round.
The retest itself is on 20th March. Further details will be disseminated at a later date.
Please reply if you are unable to attend both the revision trainings (eg 3rd language) or the retest itself."
So all the failures(I'm one of them anyway) remember to keep either your Tuesday or Monday free for the revision session.
-Ng Eng Chuan
Somebody took his track pants, which is size S or whatever, and was inside-out(that means the white part inside the pants is facing outside), and left him with a size M track pants, if anybody took his track pants by mistake, please return it to him.
-Ng Eng Chuan
We are supposed to fall in by 2.45pm and we supposedly will be released by 6.15pm
Bring your Full Uniform and PT kit
REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR SPEC HOOKS AND WEAR BLACK SOCKS!!!
We will be learning Arms Drill 2: Shoulder, Order, Ground and Take up Arms
Followed by Physical Training as usual.

Shawn

Hi.
This is just probably a reminder.
--Wednesday Trainings
Yea as Eng Chuan said, PE shirt w.e.f. tomorrow. No more Unit T le. So no excuse to say on Fridays that your Unit T just washed haven dry :)
And of course for tomorrow's training, PLEASE BRING A PACKET OF INSTANT NOODLES !! That applies to everyone. And for god's sake pls stop forgetting to bring your spec hooks. I don't see whats the problem with having them on all time.
Yea so that should be about it.
Regards,
Wenhao
"Please note that from now onwards, you all are to wear school PE T-shirt for Wednesday Trainings."
So that means no more unit T-shirt for Wednesday trainings, only if asked to wear. So the attire for all Wednesday trainings is
- PE T-shirt
- PE Pants(obvious) [and probably trackpants]
- White Socks
- Spectacle Hooks
- CDT Ng Eng Chuan =.=

Pls check your email oftenly
Hi all,
Jus a reminder, tomorrow is our Road Safety Park Marshall Duty.
Gather at the SALT Centre at 1.20pm in Full NPCC Uniform !
And bring along a pen (make sure it has ink haha).
You will be excused from lessons from 12.40pm onwards, so have your lunch and dash down to the SALT Centre and get ready! :)
You will be expected to be released back in school by 5.45pm.
Oh ya by the way... I invited the whole squad to be authors of this blog, and to my disappointment only like less than half the squad read it.
Doesn't this prove that many of us do not read their emails oftenly?
Haha. Think about it.
Regards,
CDT Cheng Wenhao :(

- Kiwi

- A candle and matchsticks

-2 Pieces of cloth ( Best if they are from your old clothings )

- Water...

- Boots ( Abit obvious... )

Step 2: Use the first cloth and apply a bit of Kiwi on it.

Step 3: Start applying the Kiwi around the boot cap. The boot will look something like that after spreading the Kiwi. Let the Kiwi on your boots dry after applying it on the boot cap.

Step 4: Light the candle! =) (PG)

Step 5: BURN THE BOOTS. Jk la just burn the layer of Kiwi so that it will stick to the boots. Note: After you "burnt your boots", it might not be shining YET. But dun worry. =)

Step 6: Use the 2nd cloth and wet it with water.

Step 7: Use the 2nd cloth and polish the boots.( The way you applied Kiwi to the boots ). This will make your boots shine more BUT it is still not shiny enough YET! Let the water on your boots dry before continueing to step 8.

Step 8: Apply another layer of Kiwi using the 1st cloth. ( Similar to step 3 )

Step 9: Use the wet cloth and polish the boots again.
AND TAAA DAAA YOU GT A PAIR OF DAM SHINY BOOTS.
~RANDY POON
This is to add on to randy's post about polishing your boots.
hehe.
Weilin sir also taught me how to make your boots SHINY :)
His method was a no-burning-required method .
Anyways, I tried out both his method and randy's method and I felt that both's outcome were almost the same.
Here's Weilin sir's method:
Items req.:
Kiwi, Water, Cloth! :)
Step 1: Wet your cloth and sort of 'coat' the boot with water. Literally, just wet the boot -.-
Dun let it dry yet!
Step 2: Apply a suitable amount of Kiwi (not too little, not too much) so that it can cover you boot with a layer of it just nicely.
Step 3: Keeping rubbing in a circular motion around the whole boot.
Do this until the water dries out and - tada! Your boot is shiny :)
P.S. Not advisable to use hair dryer or whatever mechanism to dry it.
Yea that about it :)
Hope you find it useful!
Cheers,
Wenhao
Finally this blog is done!
Feel free to post any helpful tips/notes on your course of npcc life :)
And this can serve as an announcement board too :)
First let me congratulate all those who pass your LCP !
(unfortunately i didn't :( )
Must work hard uh :D
Yea thats should be it for the first post.
*P.S Feel free to tell me about anything wrong with this blog or any improvements you want :) And, pls remember not to be rude or vulgar in your post :)

Wenhao
